Teeny tomatoes

I picked up a copy of Fig Tree Quilts' "Fresh Vintage Sewing" over the weekend and I have not been able to stop thinking about the adorable little produce pin cushions. This book is so inspiring to me. I love Joanna's thoughts on choosing a color palette for your project and the photos of her gorgeous studio. There are so many projects within the book that I want to make I don't even know where to start. But since I can't get a particular little tomato out of my head, I'm thinking I'll start there. Not only would any of the patterns make a fantastic pin cushion, but how about play food for the peanut's kitchen?! The book was worth every penny and I highly recommend you find a copy for yourself.
